Is Dr. Zenovia a real board-certified dermatologist?

Yes. Dr. Zenovia Gabriel, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon with more than 20 years in dermatology. She earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Southern California, where she served as chief resident. She is the founder of Dr. Zenovia Skincare and Head Dermatologist of ZENA Medical in Newport Beach, California.

What makes Dr. Zenovia Skincare “clinical” or “medical-grade”?

Every formula is developed by a board-certified dermatologist using clinically studied active ingredients — such as benzoyl peroxide, all-trans-retinol, vitamin C, niacinamide, and glycolic acid — at meaningful concentrations, paired with barrier-supporting ingredients. The line is designed to reduce acne-causing bacteria, support healthy cellular turnover, and protect the skin barrier.
